In 2005 the career took off as Alexandra Werner’s ambitions turned into the self-taught knowledge of how to sew. Eventually, stubbornness combined with education in pattern making and sewing turned into a few small collections. Today, the brand keeps developing in creative areas within design and show production.

In the spring of 2009, Alexandra Werner launched her first produced collection under her own brand that shares her name. With the success, the design was presented at multiple fashion shows and later sold in a store located in Stockholm. The brand Alexandra Werner is known for its edgy style and feminine sensibility, as shown in collections inspired by concepts such as Bohemian 20th –century (AW09) and British Aztec Indian (SS10).

Alongside fashion design, Alexandra Werner has been a part-owner of two nightclub labels since 2007. Several of the events combined fashion shows and art exhibitions with international DJ acts and clubbing in Stockholm’s most famous and visited locations. These concepts have shown great success on the Swedish market, offering a platform for Swedish design to be in direct contact with its customers.

In 2010, Alexandra became the co-founder, project- and executive leader of a concept initiated by the Group Locomotives, called Fashion12. During Stockholm Fashion Week in August 2010 and 2011, Fashion12 organized events for established and upcoming Swedish fashion designers. Fashion12 makes fashion accessible.
