A successful implementation of virtual meetings is not a quick technical quick-fix; it's about building a new meeting culture. Many organisations underestimate the challenge their employees face when they increasingly use virtual tools for meetings and other forms of collaboration. Virtual meetings DO differ from F2F meetings and can never fully replace these, but they can constitute a powerful complement to the "meetings toolbox".
In order to successfully integrate these IT-mediated meetings in the routines of an organisation, and to get the most out of these meetings, a systematic approach is required.
