Megasquirt and all of it's offspring's are passing through our workshop.
In Sweden we have an example called “Lasse Kort”, a small SMD MS1 v2.2 card made by “Lasse” at the Megasquirt Nordic forum. This MS-card has an SMD MCU with 44pin, and you can not upgrade it to MSII because of the construction.

Are-Inc. Has develop an adapter from SMD to standard 40pin DIL MCU. With this card you can exchange your broken SMD MCU with a standard MS I MCU or upgrade to MS II MCU.

We can solder it for you, or you can buy the adapter-board and solder it your self.
We also develop Knock-sensor, EGT sensor, CAN-bus, Custom relay-boards with all the 'MS Extra' features.

CAN-bus board. With this board you can interact with your cars standard CAN-bus system.
MS II v3 ++
MS II v3 custom main board with Motronic 55pin or 88 pin connector for "Plug'nPlay" in your car direct without altering anything.
A separate “cross connector board” in a socket on the main board, makes all the connections from the mainboard to the Motronic connector to suit your cars unique pinout.
The mainboard is the same for both 55pin and 88pin Motronic connector. You can just swop the connector as you like.
Then to make it fit your cars pinout you just select the correct “Cross connector board” and put it in the socket on the mainbord.
Then plug it in the car, start the setup in Megatune and of you go....
This board has all the features you can build for the Megasquirt II MCU.
