Åsa was born on the island of Hönö on the west coast of Sweden in 1970.
She grew up in an artistic family and also experienced both the Swedish and international art and design world during her studies in establishments, including Beckman’s College of Design in Stockholm, Lund University and the Swedish School of Textiles at the University of Borås.
Åsa works with several art techniques experimenting with art and design expressions. She enjoys working with different topics and in series.
Her artwork is exhibited in solo and group exhibitions and Åsa is represented in collections all over the world.
Åsa currently lives and works in Gothenburg and at Hönö in Sweden.
